Workshop leaders Juliana, Victor and Alicia have collaborated since 2012 on productions of Annie, Anything Goes, Beauty and the Beast, Cabaret, Fame, The Fantasticks, Grease, How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Seussical, Fiddler on the Roof, Godspell, Shrek, Into the Woods, Oklahoma, Urinetown, Guys & Dolls, Assassins, Bye Bye Birdie, Oliver! and  Spring Awakening. They have also led theater, dance and musical workshops for hundreds of kids and teens.
Juliana Rambaldi

Juliana Rambaldi

Music Director

Juliana is a founding member and Music Director of both Broadway Theater International and Young Actors Theater Strasbourg. She conducts musical theater productions, teaches vocal workshops, and gives private voice lessons. She specializes in teaching safe and effective vocal technique that produces beautiful sound in a healthy way. She also trains her students on singing in parts, audition skills, and performance techniques.
Hailed as “A Major Talent” in Opera Now’s listing of the best operatic singers, Juliana won international critical acclaim for her many roles with major opera companies throughout the United States and Europe including Chicago Lyric Opera and Houston Grand Opera. She created roles in many new works, including Catherine in the world premiere of William Bolcom’s A View from the Bridge, which was released on CD. She has also regularly performed in a cirque-cabaret show, which involves singing, improvisation, and dance.

Victor Benedetti

Victor Benedetti

Artistic Director

Victor studied music and theater at Northwestern University in Chicago. He has performed in plays, musicals, opera, and cabaret in theaters across the United States and Europe. He is known for immersing himself in the characters he plays, and he enjoys the collaborative process of live theater.
His teaching and directing focus on using the body to help actors discover and mold the characters they create. Using improvisation and games, Victor’s students build skills and tools that allow them to feel comfortable in front of an audience and to trust their fellow performers.
Along with leading theater workshops, Victor teaches voice, and has directed many musical and theater productions. He enjoys sharing his love of theater with a new generation of young people.

Alicia O’Callahan

Alicia O’Callahan

Dance Director

Born in New York, Alicia studied dance at SUNY (State University of New York) in Purchase. She studied theatre, dance, and singing at several renowned schools in Manhattan. After several summers of performing in summer stock musical productions across the United States, she toured as a dancer with Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus.
Alicia moved to Paris to pursue her passion, and became a dance teacher in several regions. She also taught in Florence, Italy. She has lived in Strasbourg for more than twenty years, where she continues to teach and choreograph. She co-founded the Young Actors Theater Strasbourg, where she is the resident choreographer and dance instructor.

David Adamson

David Adamson

General Manager

David is the driving force behind Broadway Theater International. He was an English teacher at the University of Strasbourg in France, but his real passion has always been theater, and he has been an amateur actor and director for more than 20 years. Three of the plays that he directed were submitted to the Festival of European Anglophone Theatrical Societies (FEATS): Watson in Winter (2013), Lunch Girls (2017), and The Elephant Calf (2019).
As a father of four and a teacher all his life, David is adept at relating to and handling students of all ages, and loves to transmit his love of acting, singing, and dancing to the next generation. He believes that with the right blend of encouragement and thoughtful teaching, every child is capable of blossoming on stage and mining their artistic talents.

Joceline Adamson

Joceline Adamson

Head Camp Counselor

Joceline is a singer and musician from Strasbourg. She learned the violin from a young age and she also plays the piano. As a teenager she participated in plays and in many musicals, such as My Fair Lady Bugsy Malone and West Side Story in which she came to discover her favorite hobby: singing. It started as a hobby, doing a few covers of songs but it eventually became a real passion and it led her to song-writing and composing her own songs, which she now does for a living. She has a lot of experience in working with children in a primary school as a monitor in a creative and fun environment. Working with children has been a wonderful discovery for her; she has found great passion in looking after and teaching children. She is also a founding member of Broadway Theater International.

Sally Kershaw

Sally Kershaw

Workshop Leader

Sally has performed in many live theatre productions, taking on main roles in Oliver, My Fair Lady, Calamity Jane, Annie, The Wizard of Oz and Les Miserables.
She studied dance with the British Ballet Organization, including singing and choral training.
Sally has a wealth of experience teaching children within primary schools, both in England and France, which involved directing many school productions including The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and many more.

Maël Burnouf

Maël Burnouf

Choreographer

Maël discovered his passion for musical theater at 16 by joining Young Actors Theater in Strasbourg and participating in many of their productions (How to Succeed, Cabaret, Grease, Company…)
After a year at the Conservatoire de Strasbourg, he went on to study at Cours Florent Comédie Musicale and perform in musicals such as Cabaret, Rent and many other original productions, as well as directing The Rocky Horror Picture Show before graduating in September 2023.
He is currently working as a Director’s Assistant to Alexandre Faitrouni for 3rd year students, as well as writing and directing original plays in Parisian theaters and on the road everywhere in France.

Pierre Bentz

Pierre Bentz

Camp Counselor

Pierre grew up in Strasbourg and at the age of 9 began studying classical guitar at the Conservatoire. He took part in a dozen English-language musicals with YATS, playing roles such as Doody in Grease, Herr Schultz in Cabaret, Will Parker in Oklahoma, Giuseppe Zangara in Assassins and Jack in Into the Woods.
Pierre is currently earning a Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Culture and Media in Groningen (Netherlands). He is intensely involved in his student life, directing an art studies association, acting as a “support person” in several programs and taking part in a number of flourishing artistic projects. Pierre loves sharing and learning from those around him, and is looking forward to joining BTI this summer.

Carla Rosochacki

Carla Rosochacki

Assistant Music Director

French-Irish Carla grew up in Alsace, and she has been involved with music her entire life – singing and playing various instruments. While attending Lycée International des Pontonniers in Strasbourg she began her long association with YATS first as a performer (Grease, Oklahoma, Into the Woods…), then as a musical assistant (Guys & Dolls, Urinetown, Fiddler on the Roof…), and most recently as stage manager for Shrek.
She received a Musicology degree, focused in Popular Music Studies at the University of Strasbourg, and she is currently in her first year of Cultural Outreach Master’s degree (still in Strasbourg). During all this she was also in a band called Salle TV, founded an cultural association called La Mezzanine, and is working on a solo musical project.

Sean McGinley

Sean McGinley

Assistant Music Director

Sean McGinley is an American saxophonist and music educator from Washington D.C. He completed his Bachelor’s degree at Shenandoah University in Virginia.
In 2022, Sean decided to move to France to pursue his passion for saxophone at the Conservatoire de Strasbourg and is currently working on a second Master’s degree in saxophone pedagogy at the Haute école des arts du Rhin (HEAR) with Philippe Geiss. Since his arrival in France, Sean has established a reputation for collaboration, joy and musicality with orchestras and quartets. Along with playing with numerous orchestras in Strasbourg, he has also performed around Europe.
Sean also has extensive experience in musical theater having performed in Urinetown, Annie, Nice Work If You Can Get It and Grease before joining the artistic team at YATS with their productions of Shrek and Bye, Bye Birdie.

Sebastian Yobé-Bowen

Sebastian Yobé-Bowen

Associate Music Director

Sebastian grew up and went to school in Strasbourg. He started playing music very early and this has been a constant in his life. He studied jazz piano and music theory at the Conservatoire de Strasbourg. While still in Strasbourg he discovered his love of theater and improvisation. He has had roles in many productions including Schlomo in Fame, Moonface in Anything Goes, Hucklebee in The Fantasticks, John Wilkes Booth in Assassins and was an Actor/Musician in Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812.
Sebastian has fused his theater and music skills into becoming a wonderful music director, assisting and leading many productions including How To Succeed and Cabaret. He is currently studying theater at Ohio University and is happy to be back with the BTI team.

Adèle Bachmann

Adèle Bachmann

Adèle grew up in Strasbourg and started performing at age 12 as the Star-To-Be in Annie. She was hooked and took part in many more productions including the musical Anything Goes (Reno Sweeney) and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (Rosemary).
As her high school years came to an end she decided she wanted to pursue musical theater professionally and was accepted at Chichester University – completing her Musical Theater Triple Threat course there in 2022. She is now a professional actress and on the constant lookout for her next role. Aside from performing, Adèle enjoys directing, choreographing and creating artistic projects and is always looking to collaborate with other artists and learn from their experiences.
